  • 🌟 Roudenbush Expands Educational Support with New Community Tutor List

📚 Roudenbush Community Center is excited to introduce our newly updated Tutor List , now proudly managed by Roudenbush! This valuable resource was previously overseen by Westford Academy , and we are honored to continue this tradition by expanding it into a community-wide platform. Our goal is to make it easier than ever for families to find academic support and for local tutors to share their expertise—all in one accessible, easy-to-use location. For years, families in Westford and surrounding towns have relied on word-of-mouth, scattered postings, or school-based referrals to find the academic help their children need. Now, Roudenbush is proud to provide a central, reliable, and easy-to-use hub  where tutors can share their expertise and students can discover the right match for their learning goals. 📝 Why a Tutor List? Because Community Matters. At Roudenbush, we’ve always believed in the power of connection. Whether it’s through classes, events, or community engagement, our mission is to bring people together. The Tutor List continues this mission by: Supporting Students:  Families can browse a variety of tutors in one place, saving time and helping them identify the right fit. Empowering Local Tutors:  Independent tutors gain visibility and can connect with families seeking their specialized skills. Strengthening Community Ties:  By hosting this resource, Roudenbush helps bridge the gap between academic needs and educational talent already in our community.  📌 What Families Can Expect Our Tutor List is easy to navigate and provides clear, direct information about each tutor, including: Subjects offered Grade levels served Experience and background Contact information CORI status (background check completed or not) Families can reach out to tutors directly to discuss scheduling, pricing, and expectations. All arrangements are made solely between the parent/student and the tutor. 🧑‍🏫 Important Notes About Tutor Participation While Roudenbush hosts and manages the directory, we do not endorse or recommend specific tutors. Each listing is provided as a community resource, and all tutoring services take place independently . We strongly encourage all tutors to be CORI-cleared , and beginning January 1st , all tutors on the list must have a valid CORI check completed either through Westford Academy or Roudenbush. (Please note: starting in August, only CORI checks completed through Roudenbush will be accepted.) 📖 Are You a Tutor? Join the List! If you’re a tutor looking to reach more families, we’d love to include you. Simply fill out our Tutor Sign-Up Form with the exact information you’d like to appear on our website. 👉 Sign Up Here:   https://roudenbush.org/tutor-information#tutor-sign-up-form

  • 🎁 Why Your Day of Giving Matters: Supporting The Roudenbush Community Center

🎁 As the season of gratitude arrives , communities around the world come together for the Day of Giving—a time dedicated to lifting up the organizations that make a meaningful difference in our daily lives. Here in Westford, The Roudenbush Community Center has been that heartbeat for 50 years , offering programs, classes, events, and services that support families of all ages. 🏡 What many people don’t realize is that Roudenbush is an independent nonprofit. Every class you sign up for, every event you attend, every birthday party you host, and every donation you make directly supports our ability to keep the doors open and the lights on—literally. 💛 As a nonprofit, Roudenbush runs on the revenue we earn and the generosity of community members who believe in what we do. Your support helps us: Offer accessible programs for children, adults, and seniors Maintain historic buildings that serve as gathering spaces Provide safe, affordable childcare and enriching after-school programs Host beloved community traditions Create new opportunities for learning, creativity, and connection 💡 Every dollar truly stays right here in Westford , helping us invest back into the families and neighbors we serve. 🌟 On this Day of Giving, we invite you to consider Roudenbush in your year-end charitable plans. Whether it’s $10 or $100, your tax-deductible donation helps us continue our mission for the next 50 years—and ensures that Roudenbush remains a welcoming, lively, and inclusive place for our entire community. 🎉 Thank you for being part of our story , for celebrating with us throughout our 50th Anniversary year, and for supporting a nonprofit that works tirelessly to bring Westford together. We look forward to the next 50 years with you by our side. ❤️ Together, we keep community strong.
