Fall is one of our favorite times of year at the Roudenbush Community Center! From community traditions and seasonal celebrations to family-friendly Halloween events, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and neighbors. š
š»The fun begins on September 1, when we start collecting gently used costumes for our annual Costume Swap. Drop off your gently used costumes, we will be collecting for a month then on October 4 come back and shop the inventory!
šļøOur Annual Town Wide Yard Sale will take place on September 26, shoppers and treasure hunters can explore bargains at Abbot School Lawn 25 Depot Street or grab the map to shop throughout Westford. š”
š§āāļø October is packed with Halloween fun! The House Decorating Contest opens on October 1, giving Westford residents the chance to transform their homes into festive fall displays. Upload a day and night photo of your home with the address and any theme information and we will display it on our website and provide a map for community members to view in person!
šøļøš On October 4, join us for the Fall Market we have candles, body care, pottery, Shop
and discover a wonderful selection of handmade and locally made goods! Browse jewelry, candles, soaps, pottery, knitted and crocheted items, seasonal dĆ©cor, artwork, personalized gifts, clothing, accessories, pet products, garden dĆ©cor, and more. Youāll also find delicious local treats, including baked goods, jams, honey, sauces, seasonings, coffee, tea, and beautifully packaged giftsāperfect for celebrating the season and supporting local vendors! ššļø
š Late October brings the fun for everyone!! Children in grades Kā5 can dress up and dance the night away at the Halloween Dance on October 23. This is a parent and child event, no children can attend without an adult. Please be sure to get your tickets early! Costumes are encouraged !
š¹The BIG event is Oct 24! The 2nd Annual Monster Mash on Main Street hosted by Roudenbush and the Town of Westford! Join us for a Halloween parade, trunk or treat, touch-a truck, Live Dj, food trucks, friends, neighbors and a whole LOT of fun! Main Street will be hopping with ghosts, goblins, princess, super-heros and more!
Ā š¶ The Annual Middle School Halloween Dance on October 30th is always an event not to miss! Middle schoolers get a chance to socialize, dance, play in the game room, take photos in the photo booth and so much more! This event sells out every year and we are linitied to the number of guest per local fire and police codes - please be sure to purchase your ticket early!
šš¬ On Halloween, October 31, we will announce the winner of the House Decorating Contest!
As fall gives way to winter, the excitement continues. āļø Our Winter Catalog will be released on November 11, featuring upcoming classes, programs and seasonal activities.
š November 29th we are so excited to be a location for the Festival of Trees this year! The annual event showcases Christmas trees decorated by local neighbors and businesses, gingerbread creations, and beautiful wreaths! Stop by the many locations this year to enjoy the seasonal cheer! āØ
