The Roudenbush Community Center is thrilled to partner with Last Hope K9 Rescue (LHK9) to host a pawsome 🐕 dog adoption event on Saturday, May 3rd, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM . This special event will provide an opportunity for potential adopters to meet and connect with over 20 adoptable dogs who are just waiting to shower someone with slobbery kisses! 😘 About Last Hope K9 Rescue 🦴 LHK9 is a 501(c)(3) registered non-profit all-breed dog rescue based in Massachusetts. Their mission is to save abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs, particularly from high-kill shelters in Central Arkansas and beyond . LHK9 doesn’t discriminate—young, old, big, small, fluffy, or even a little goofy, they believe every pup deserves a second chance! 🐾 Unlike traditional shelters, LHK9 is a foster-based rescue , meaning that all of their dogs live in foster homes rather than in a physical facility. As temperatures start to drop, let’s come together to ensure every child has the warm clothing they need to stay cozy all winter long. We're calling on our community to donate gently used children's winter gear and help us make a difference. 🌨️ How It Works Starting November 15th through December 1st , we’ll be collecting gently used winter coats, snow pants, boots, mittens, scarves, and snow boots at three convenient drop-off locations: 65 Main Street 🏢 Roudenbush Children's Center at Frost (73 Main Street) 🏫 Roudenbush Children's Center at NAB (170 Plain Road) 🛣️ Once we’ve gathered all the gear, we’ll open up our Winter Gear Shop on December 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 65 Main Street . The Winter Wonderland Party at the Roudenbush Community Center is the event of the season, and it’s exclusively for middle schoolers! 📅 When and Where: Join us on Friday, December 6, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Roudenbush Community Center. This two-hour celebration will be packed with activities to keep everyone entertained: Music and Dancing: The DJ will be spinning tracks that will keep the dance floor alive all night! Games Galore: A dedicated game room will offer friendly competition and plenty of laughs. Photo Booth Fun: Capture the memories with your friends in our festive photo booth. Snacks & Treats: Fuel up with delicious snacks to keep your energy high. 🎟️ Important Ticket Info: Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance – no tickets will be sold at the door.
