❄️ Under the Arch - Winter Children's Gear Swap

Updated: 2 days ago

🧣Keeping Kids Cozy This Season!

UPDATE: Due to a lack of inventory, we will not be open on Dec 7th for the Swap, if you are looking for some winter gear please stop by Roudenbush Thurs 12/5 or Fri 12/6 to pick up some warm winter wear!

💙 December 7, 2024 - Our Halloween Swap was such a hit that we’re thrilled to bring it back—this time with a winter twist! As temperatures start to drop, let’s come together to ensure every child has the warm clothing they need to stay cozy all winter long. We're calling on our community to donate gently used children's winter gear and help us make a difference. 🌨️

How It Works

Starting November 15th through December 1st, we’ll be collecting gently used winter coats, snow pants, boots, mittens, scarves, and snow boots at three convenient drop-off locations:

  • 65 Main Street 🏢

  • Roudenbush Children's Center at Frost (73 Main Street) 🏫

  • Roudenbush Children's Center at NAB (170 Plain Road) 🛣️

Once we’ve gathered all the gear, we’ll open up our Winter Gear Shop on December 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 65 Main Street. This is a chance for families to "shop" the collection and pick up winter essentials at no cost! 🛍️

What to Donate

We're asking for gently used items that will keep children warm through the winter months:

  • Winter Coats 🧥

  • Snow Pants ❄️

  • Snow Boots 🥾

  • Mittens & Gloves 🧤

  • Scarves 🧣

This event is all about helping our community, so bring your outgrown or unused winter gear and swap it for something you need—or simply donate to help others. Together, we can make sure every child has what they need to stay safe and warm this season. Let’s make a difference and spread some warmth this winter! 🌟🧡
