Instructors: Cory Roman and Lynn Bonakdar Wednesday/September 10th/6:00pm-9:00pm/High School/$180 This in-person combined SAT cram preparatory course is designed to help students of all levels and abilities improve their scores on both the verbal and math sections of the digital SAT. Students will not only be exposed to the curriculum covered on both the Verbal & Math sections of the SAT, but they will also learn strategies for taking standardized tests. Students will take actual SAT practice tests where answers and methods for solving problems will be discussed. Students will also learn how to navigate the computer application used for the SAT. The class will be three days before the actual SAT is administered on September 13. Cory Roman is a Massachusetts certified teacher with over twenty years of high school teaching experience. He is currently teaching Algebra 2, Trigonometry & PreCalculus and AP Statistics at Westford Academy. Cory holds a Master's of Education from Harvard University, and has extensive experience tutoring privately in both SAT/ACT and in various mathematics courses. He has been teaching community education classes for 5 years at Roudenbush Community Center and hopes to help all students improve their mathematical skills and standardized test taking strategies. Lynn Bonakdar has been teaching in Westford for nineteen years. Currently, she teaches 11th and 12th grade English at Westford Academy. Lynn holds a Master of Education and has years of private tutoring experience in writing, test preparation, and literature. She has been teaching community education courses in the area for over a decade and is passionate about helping students sharpen their skills and increase their confidence.

Instructor: Krish Chavan Monday - Friday/July 7th - 11th/12:00 - 2:00pm/6th - 8th grade/$220 Get ready to start your coding journey! This beginner-friendly, five-day course is designed especially for kids ages 12 to 14 who are curious about programming and want to learn how to code using Python — one of the most popular and beginner-friendly programming languages. Throughout this fun and interactive course, students will explore the basics of Python programming through creative and hands-on activities. They'll learn how to write simple programs, use variables, loops, and conditionals, and even build their first mini-projects. No prior coding experience is needed — just curiosity and a desire to learn! What Students Will Learn: ~Introduction to Python and how it works ~Writing and running your first Python code ~Understanding variables, data types, and simple math ~Using loops and conditionals to control the flow of a program ~Creating basic text-based games and fun mini-projects By the end of the course, students will have the confidence to keep exploring the world of programming and build on the skills they've learned. Join him for a 45-minute fun, creative and active atmosphere for children. They will get their bodies moving and sure to be tired when they are done! He will introduce many different sports and games during the weekly session. Mr. Ben's Sports and Fitness is a unique program developed by Ben Stanley! This program provides a fun, creative, disciplined, and active atmosphere for children. It incorporates instrumental, beat-heavy music to motivate and educate children in sports and fitness. Children learn the foundational skills needed for most athletics, along with essential life skills. Mr. Ben lives here in Westford where he resides with his loving wife and their 5 children. He has years of experience in early childhood education and working with school age children here in this community and surrounding towns. In 2016 he created "Mr. Ben Sports and Fitness" and over the years his experience has opened many doors to other creative classes that he has taught here at Roudenbush and other locations. Mr. Bens love of sports, and music stems from having grown up in a family of artists, musicians and athletes. He plays many instruments and incorporates the music into a high energy gross motor program that will be sure to get your children moving.
