Service Description

Class: April Camp: Animation Studio (Jedi Masters) and Science of Superpowers Instructor: Snapology Staff Tuesday - Friday/April 21st-April 24th/9:00am - 3:30pm/Age 5 to 10/$325 The Animation Studios: Jedi Masters program allows students to create their own action-packed, Jedi-inspired movies using LEGO® bricks. Participants design characters, build scenes, and develop storylines that bring their imaginative adventures to life. Throughout the program, students learn how to plan a story through storyboarding, sequence their scenes, and create movement using basic animation techniques. They explore how timing, perspective, and scene design affect storytelling, while developing problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and creativity. Collaboration and communication are emphasized as students work together to brainstorm ideas, refine scenes, and provide feedback to one another. By combining hands-on building with storytelling and animation, Movie Making – Jedi Masters gives students a fun, interactive experience that strengthens critical thinking, teamwork, and imaginative skills while allowing them to immerse themselves in the world of Jedi adventures." "Science of Superpowers program "invites students to explore the fascinating science behind superpowers through hands-on experiments and building activities. Using LEGO® bricks and other materials, participants discover how principles of physics, chemistry, and biology make extraordinary abilities—like flight, super strength, or speed—possible in the real world. Throughout the program, students design, build, and test their own “superpowered” creations, experimenting with motion, energy, forces, and simple machines. They learn to observe, hypothesize, and problem-solve like real scientists, discovering how scientific concepts can explain even the most imaginative powers. By combining fun, interactive activities with practical science learning, the Science of Superpowers program inspires curiosity, builds confidence, and gives students a hands-on understanding of how science is all around us—even in the world of superheroes."
