Little astronauts will have a blast exploring the stars, learning gravity-defying moves, and stretching out their “alien” moves in a world where anything is possible. It’s a cosmic adventure that’s out of this world! Teddy Bear Picnic Week Bring your teddy bear along for a fun-filled gymnastics picnic! Toddlers will roll, jump, and crawl through fun teddy bear-themed activities like bear crawls and picnic blanket stretches. They’ll also get to practice balancing like a bear sitting still and toss their teddy bear friends into fun challenges. Heart Saver CPR This course will include CPR instruction along with manikin practice and the use of the Automatic External Defibrillator (AED). An AHA textbook is provided that should be read prior to class. Upon successful individual completion of skills evaluation a course card will be emailed to the participant. Students will practice SAT test-taking strategies and work through real SAT questions as they sharpen their grammar, close reading, and analytical writing skills. The instructor will provide all necessary supplementary materials; no book necessary. This course runs the week of the June 7th SAT test administration Lynn Bonakdar has been teaching in Westford for twenty years. Currently, she teaches 11th and 12th grade English at Westford Academy. Lynn holds a Master of Education and has years of private tutoring experience in writing, SAT/ACT test preparation, and literature. She has been teaching community education courses in the area for over a decade and is passionate about helping students sharpen their skills and increase their confidence.
