I am a software engineer, with a passion for teaching. I have worked as an 8th grade math remediation assistant, co-taught 6th grade math, trained 6th graders for a mathletes contest, and set up a math remediation program for about 40 K-5 children, at the Ayer Public Schools. I have tutored a number of students in Arlington (middle and high school). I have an MS in Computer Science and an MA in Child Development, an 97/100 score on the MTEL Math section, and an 800 (max) score on my GRE. I can help with understanding concepts, working through homework, preparing for tests. I like to understand the specific blocks each student is facing, so each of my tutoring sessions is personalized. I will offer a free introduction/ evaluation session to start with.
