Community Fun

The Roudenbush Community Center hosts various events that bring the community together, including the Town-Wide Yard Sale, seasonal parties for middle school students, local markets, and a lively Halloween Parade. They also organize the charitable Carve for Carson pumpkin-carving event and a Halloween Costume Swap, promoting sustainability by allowing families to exchange gently used costumes, fostering a vibrant, connected community for all ages.

This group will include discussions of common childrearing and relationship struggles with the option of sharing your specific worries with the group. All caregivers are welcome, moms, dads, grandparents, if you are caring for a child and struggling, we are happy to have you.

About The Event

Does it feel like you're shouting for help and nobody can hear (or nobody cares)?

Family, work, relationships, can all feel so overwhelming. You want to be it all and do it all but you're losing yourself. It feels like nobody understands, even when you try to explain. We get told that relationships, family, platonic, and romantic, require "good communication", but nobody every teaches you what that means, so it always feels as though you're being misunderstood. You're snapping at your partner (or want to), your kids aren't listening, and inside you're screaming. But you’re not sure if therapy is right for you and it’s an expensive what if!
