Service Description

Class: Planes, Trains & Automobiles Jr. Instructor: Snapology Staff Mondays/March 23rd-May 4th/4:30-5:30/Age 5 to 7/$160 (NO CLASS 4/20) "This program gives young learners the opportunity to explore the world of transportation through hands-on, play-based building activities. Using LEGO® bricks and guided challenges, children build models of airplanes, trains, and vehicles while learning how they move and what makes each form of transportation unique. Throughout the program, participants explore basic engineering and science concepts such as motion, wheels, and simple machines in an age-appropriate way. Activities are designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, and early problem-solving skills while keeping learning fun and engaging. The program also supports social development as children work alongside their peers, share materials, and follow simple instructions. By combining imaginative play with early STEM concepts, Planes, Trains & Automobiles Jr. helps build confidence, coordination, and a positive introduction to engineering and transportation concepts."

Instructors address behavior concerns using a supportive, step-by-step approach that may include reminders, redirection, brief cool-down periods, parent or guardian communication, early pickup, or removal from future classes if behavior repeatedly impacts safety or learning. Refunds for removed participants will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. A child may be removed immediately if behavior poses a danger to themselves, other participants, or staff. In these cases, the child will be brought to the Community Center’s main office and parents or guardians will be contacted for prompt pickup. Families play an important role by reviewing expectations with their child, sharing relevant information or accommodation needs, and remaining reachable during class times. Roudenbush welcomes children of all abilities and backgrounds and strives to provide reasonable accommodations to ensure a safe, fun & enriching experience for everyone.
