Service Description

Class: Bucket Drumming Instructors: Athena Coding Staff! Mondays/January 5th - March 9th/5:45 - 6:45/ Grades K - 8/$250 (NO CLASS 1/19, 2/16) Turn Buckets into Beats in This High-Energy Music Class Discover rhythm and teamwork through fun drumming beats. Bucket Drumming is a high-energy, interactive music class that transforms ordinary buckets into vibrant percussion instruments, sparking a love for rhythm and creativity. Designed especially for students in Grades K–8, this program invites young musicians to explore basic drumming techniques and rhythmic patterns in an unconventional, funfilled setting. In this class, participants will learn to harness the power of sound by experimenting with different striking techniques, dynamic volumes, and creative beat patterns. Through engaging call-and-response exercises and lively group drumming sessions, students not only enhance their coordination and timing but also build strong teamwork and self-expression skills. Each session encourages individual creativity while fostering group collaboration, culminating in a grand final performance where every student can proudly showcase their musical journey. At Athena Coding, our music instructors specialize in creative rhythm-based education that turns ordinary objects into musical tools. With experience teaching percussion across schools and enrichment programs, we emphasize self-expression, coordination, and group collaboration. Our approach helps students develop confidence, timing, and a love for music in a high-energy, inclusive setting where every child can shine.


Policy & Procedures

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Our programs are supported totally by fees; therefore, full refunds are not given for withdrawals. In the event you would like to withdraw, you will receive a refund as follows: · If a participant withdraws from a program at least seven days prior to the start date a refund of the cost less 25% processing fee will be given. · If a participant withdraws from a program less than seven days prior to the start date, no refund will be issued. · No refunds are given for trips or special events. Cancellation Policy - I/We accept the following The Roudenbush Community Center, Inc. (TRCCI) Cancellation and Transfer Policy: A voucher less $10 will be issued for cancellations 7 days prior to start of program; no other refunds will be granted; no refunds will be issued for trips or special events; there will be a $10 fee to transfer from one class to another; vouchers expire one year from date of issue; if Roudenbush cancels a class, we will call participants and issue a full voucher or refund. Release of Liability for Minor - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to his/her participation in the TRCCI Programs and to his/her use of the TRCCI facilities and equipment. I/We further agree to release and hold harmless TRCCI and their employees, agents and assigns from any and all liability or expenses arising out of any incident involving, or any account of any injury to the above named minor in connection with such program. I/We further consent to emergency treatment by a physician in the event of injury to, or illness of our child during his/her participation in this program. I/We accept full responsibility for all costs for any such emergency treatment. Photography Permission - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to the taking of videos and photographs of my/our child which may be used in the promotion of the TRCCI Programs.
