School Vacation Programs Our School-Age Vacation Care program provides a safe and engaging environment for children during winter, February, and April school breaks from 8am to 5pm, as well as on professional development days. Designed for working parents or families seeking enriching care during these off-school periods, our program offers a wide range of activities that keep children active, learning, and entertained. Kim has been an active gymnast for years, but in her down time loves gardening and spending time with her two children. The Frost team will walk your child and stay with them while they attend classes at Roudenbush Community Center (65 Main Street, right next door). Once you have registered your child for a Roudenbush program, a Child Transfer Form must be signed by the child’s parent/guardian and classroom teacher in order for the child to be escorted over to the Roudenbush Community Center. Here at the center, our community markets are not just a shopping experience but an opportunity to celebrate local talent and creativity. We offer a Holiday Market in the winter months, a Spring Market and starting in 2025, we are excited to announce we will be holding a Fall Market in October! Join us in the summer months for our annual Community Farmers Market that runs weekly! At Roudenbush, we believe in fostering a strong sense of community spirit, and what better way to achieve that than through our vibrant Markets held throughout the year! School Age Programs The Roudenbush After School Day Care Program located in the heart of Westford. The program provides a safe, engaging environment for school-aged children after regular school hours. Activities include homework assistance, arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor play, and enrichment programs. The Children's Center Give your kids the chance to experience something amazing Blue Room The Blue Room at Roudenbush's after-school program is a vibrant and welcoming space for kindergarten and first-grade students. Designed to spark creativity and encourage exploration, this room features a variety of engaging activities that promote social skills, teamwork, and fun learning experiences. All of our staff are certified by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), and our programs are licensed through the EEC. *Please note** At this time the Miller and Day Schools do not have busses going to Roudenbush for the 2024/2025 school year. We believe in the value of providing children with both structured and unstructured time. Our daily routine incorporates quiet time for homework or individual reflection, followed by opportunities for free play and group activities. This balance allows children to engage in self-directed exploration and creativity, whether they are building, drawing, painting, or imagining new worlds with their peers. We recognize the importance of outdoor play and make the most of our large field area, where children can participate in games, sports, or art projects that encourage collaboration, movement, and fun. In addition to these daily activities, we offer seamless access to a variety of enrichment classes such as gymnastics, cooking, and art, all within our center. By providing transportation from local elementary schools and offering care during school vacation weeks, early-release days, professional development days, and snow days, we aim to meet the needs of both children and their families with flexibility and convenience.
