Your child was born with a natural curiosity, which makes them want to touch, taste, see, smell and hear everything. Since play is the natural way that every child learns, it is one of the most effective methods of teaching...our method of teaching. Through play, your child’s curiosity is stimulated. They are encouraged to explore, imitate, manipulate and master the surrounding environment. The center prides itself on providing your child with a safe and caring environment. Our programs give your child the opportunity to participate in a variety of age and developmentally appropriate activities. Included in our programs is the opportunity for children to learn about different cultures by participating in a variety of traditional cultural events and holiday celebrations. Through these experiences, a positive self-image is reinforced and a foundation for strong cognitive and social skills is formed. In our early childhood programs, our curriculum is based on themes that incorporate language, math, science, social studies, small/large motor skills, art, music and cooking activities. Our After School program curriculum is flexible and structured to meet the needs of the children who have spent the majority of their day in a structured school setting. The daily schedule consists of alternating periods of individual, small group, large group, structured and non-structured time, both indoors and out of doors. It is always a pleasure to see children learning while forming new friendships. When appropriate, we will take field trips or bring in special enrichment programs to complement our programming. You can also host a course over several weeks or offer your own classes for months. Availability is dependent on the schedule. Once your room rental contract is returned, a staff member will contact you to confirm details, rates, and send an invoice. Rates & Payment Terms: A 50% deposit is due within 72 hours of submitting the contract. The remaining balance is due 5 days before the rental date. If the rental is within 5 days, full payment is due upon submission of the contract. An invoice will be sent for payment. For after-hours rentals, instructions on building access will be provided along with a key code. For after-hours support, please call (978) 496-xxxx. Renters are fully responsible for ensuring the building is cleaned and locked at the end of the rental. Long-Term Contracts: A monthly payment schedule will be set up. Rent is due on the 1st of every month, with a late fee charged on the 10th if payment is not received. If the confirmation is made within 72 hours or less of the rental the entire rental fee is due upon receipt. Please check off all terms below: A Certificate of Liability may be rquired for your rental. Rental is limited to the agreed upon room(s) only. I will leave the room in the condition I found it in and I am responsible to clean the room before leaving. All rentals require an adult (18+) to be present at all times. A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking the room, the deposit is non refundable within 14 days of the event. The remainder of the room rental fee is non refundable and due 5 days before the event. All cancellations will be charged $25 administrative fee. Renter agrees to secure building as trained by the Roudenbush staff (if applicable). If electronics are needed, Renter is liable for all equipment provided. Vaction Fun Days @ Nab Join us for Vaction Fun Days at Nab Preschool, a program designed to keep kids engaged, active, and entertained during school vacation weeks in December, February, and April! Running from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Vacation Fun Days offer themed activities, games, and crafts that celebrate each season and holiday. Our dedicated team of instructors brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion to every class and program. From arts and fitness to academics and enrichment, each instructor is committed to fostering a welcoming and engaging learning environment for all ages. Get to know the talented individuals who make our community center a place of growth, creativity, and connection! The Community Center Vanessa Bellitti, Adult and Teen Hip Hop Instructor Vanessa started her dance training at the young age of 1 1/2. And it was then, her love for the stage set in. Her dance career began after graduating high school. Dancing professionally for Phunk Phenomenon and the Boston Celtics. Having the opportunity to perform on many stages across the country. After a performance break to start her family, Vanessa rejoined the dance community. Today she enjoys performing with the ballet company Dance Prism, sharing her love of dance and the stage with two of her children. Rikki Dzineku, Yoga Instructor Meet Rikki, a passionate yoga instructor who loves bringing energy and warmth to each session. With years of experience, she creates an uplifting space for all levels to connect, grow, and enjoy the practice of yoga. Outside of teaching, Rikki is a traveler, cooking enthusiast, and avid reader, always inspired by new experiences and cultures. Join her on the mat to build strength, balance, and a sense of community, and discover how movement can empower and energize you inside and out. Asako Judson, Cooking & Baking Instructor Asako was born and raised in Japan before moving to Massachusetts to study Culinary Arts at Newbury College in Brookline. After graduating, she honed her pastry skills at the Ritz Carlton, Bay Tower as an assistant pastry chef, a wedding cake studio, Clear Flour Bakery, and a Vietnamese restaurant. She also worked as a private chef for a single family for six years and occasionally takes on catering projects. Asako’s lifelong passion for cooking and baking shines through in every dish she creates. Mr Ben Stanley, Kids Fitness and Drawing Mr. Ben lives here in Westford where he resides with his loving wife and their 5 children. He has years of experience in early childhood education and working with school age children here in this community and surrounding towns. In 2016 he created "Mr. Ben Sports and Fitness" and over the years his experience has opened many doors to other creative classes that he has taught here at Roudenbush and other locations. Mr. Bens love of sports, and music stems from having grown up in a family of artists, musicians and athletes. He plays many instruments and incorporates the music into a high energy gross motor program that will be sure to get your children moving. Tim Swanson, Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival From a very young age, Tim Swanson held a strong interest in spending time outdoors. As a child, he would be outside identifying insects, building shelters, and looking for animal tracks. Throughout high school, he found activities such as hide tanning, foraging, and backcountry camping. He attended Unity College from 2010-2014 where he received a double Bachelors degree in Adventure Education Leadership and Adventure Therapy. While attending Unity College, Tim was the Training Officer for the volunteer search & rescue team as well as the President of the college's primitive skills club. After receiving his degree, Tim worked as a field guide for various wilderness therapy organizations in Vermont and Utah. While in between shifts working wilderness therapy, he taught animal tracking and foraging at local conservation lands. Through leading these educational walks, Tim started Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival. Tim has extensive professional training in leading backcountry wilderness expeditions, and hundreds of nights in the field leading groups of teenagers and adults. Tim's specialties are ultralight backpacking, stone age living skills, fly-fishing, and foraging for wild plants. He also has a strong background in many wilderness activities including rock climbing, cross-country skiing, and whitewater canoeing. Jarred Grant, Rockabye Beats Jarred Grant is a born entertainer from Portland, Oregon, who moved to Boston in 2004 to attend Berklee College of Music, studying performance, songwriting, and production. A dedicated music teacher and performer, he has traveled extensively, even playing alongside Robby Krieger of The Doors. With Rockabye Beats, Jarred shares his love of music, bringing people of all ages together, fostering connections, and sprinkling in music education along the way. Sue Hurwitz, Enrichment Classes Sue is passionate about creativity and loves sharing it with children of all ages. She has taught art at Roudenbush Community Center, served as art director for Nashua Community Music School’s summer camps, and co-directed Music Around the World and other culture camps. With a strong background in dance and yoga, she holds multiple certifications and has taught Musical Yoga at the Montessori School in Hollis, NH. Sue also spent 17 years teaching Special Education, nurturing creativity in young minds. Zach and Theo Schurman, 3D Printing Zach and Theo are passionate about 3D printing and have extensive hands-on experience creating and refining prints. You may have seen them selling their prints at the community market over the summer. In this class, they'll share their in-depth knowledge about the 3D printing process. Vidhi Dahlia, Art, Makeup Instructor Flawless Creations By Vidhi is where beauty meets artistry, offering a unique blend of makeup and creative art with over 15 years of experience. Vidhi specializes in creating stunning makeup looks for weddings, fashion shows, beauty pageant bollywood celebrities, while also leading engaging and fun group makeup & art workshops. As a versatile artist, she transforms everyday items into extraordinary masterpieces using acrylics, oils, 3D art techniques, watercolor, and henna. Whether it's custom gifts like seasonal items, resin art, canvas pieces, mugs, fabric designs, wood, or rock art. She has been doing lively paint nights for corporate team building events, kids and for friends also makeup workshops, and face painting for birthday parties for many years. Each creation reflects Vidhi's passion, creativity, and dedication to perfection!

Community Fun The Roudenbush Community Center hosts various events that bring the community together, including the Town-Wide Yard Sale, seasonal parties for middle school students, local markets, and a lively Halloween Parade. They also organize the charitable Carve for Carson pumpkin-carving event and a Halloween Costume Swap, promoting sustainability by allowing families to exchange gently used costumes, fostering a vibrant, connected community for all ages. And with a big open field nearby, there’s plenty of space for adventures, games, and endless outdoor fun! The Children's Center Experience the Difference, Join our Community Today! Infants Our infant classroom focuses on several important areas. These include promoting sensory exploration, encouraging physical development through tummy time and play, facilitating social interactions with caregivers and other infants, and supporting cognitive development through activities like reading and singing. Toddlers Our toddler classrooms typically focus on promoting social skills, language development, and early learning concepts. Activities consist of circle time for group interaction, art and sensory exploration, music and movement, outdoor play for gross motor skill development, and simple education to introduce basic concepts like colors, shapes and numbers. The curriculum is designed to provide a balance of structured activities and free play, tailored to the developmental needs of toddlers. PreSchool Our preschool classrooms curriculum is designed to prepare children for pre-kindergarten by focusing on early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development. Activities include circle time for group discussions, storytelling, art projects, pre-writing exercises, basic math concepts, science exploration and structured play to encourage cooperation and problem-solving. The curriculum aims to provide a well-rounded educational experience that supports children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth. PreKindergarten Our pre-kindergarten classroom curriculum is designed to prepare children for kindergarten. These classes include more structured learning activities focused on early literacy, numeracy, science exploration and social studies. While your child is enrolled at Frost you can utilize the classes at the Roudenbush Community Center. If your child has been interested in trying gymnastics or taking a gross-motor class with Mr. Ben but your schedule never allowed for it, this is the perfect time to sign-up.
