Community Fun

The Roudenbush Community Center hosts a variety of events that bring the community together. Twice a year, the Town-Wide Yard Sale invites residents to sell and shop for treasures, while middle school students enjoy four seasonal parties filled with music and games. The center also hosts local markets, a lively Halloween Parade, and the charitable Carve for Carson pumpkin-carving event. Additionally, the Halloween Costume Swap promotes sustainability by allowing families to exchange gently used costumes. These events foster a vibrant and connected community for all ages.

About The Event

RAIN or SHINE!!

Come treasure hunt at our semi annual yard sale at Abbot School, or grab a map at Roudenbush Community Center (65 Main Street) of participating households and go on an adventure!  Maps indicate houses around town that will be holding yard sales.  If you are selling at Abbot please bring your own table to set up, pull up to unload and then move your car to the parking lot next to the school.  We would like that area open for shoppers to peruse your goods.

Set up time is 7am - sale starts at 8am sale ends at 1pm and clean up is done by 2pm.

PLEASE NOTE: the $10 fee is for a 10' x 10' space, if you will be bringing more than what will fit in the 10'x10' space please purchase more than one space. (Organizations please call Roudenbush to discuss space and pricing)
