Service Description
Instructor: Fun World Language Staff Class: Spanish for Adults Date: Thursdays March 6th - May 1st (no class 4/24) Time: 6:45 - 8:00pm Age: High School & Adults Price: $260 Spanish is a vibrant and widely spoken Romance language with over 500 million native speakers worldwide. This Spanish for Adults class is designed to help learners develop or improve their proficiency in Spanish, focusing on communication skills for everyday situations. The course covers the four key language skills: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. -The course structure includes interactive exercises, role-playing, and conversations to boost confidence in speaking and comprehension. - Although mainly designed for beginners, this fun and interactive class will be largely customized to meet the interest and levels of the students who sign up. Our goal at Fun World Language Academy is to help students on their journey to proficiency while also making learning engaging and fun, in order to aid motivation for continued language acquisition success. -Becoming bilingual at any age has many benefits for your brain health, makes travel more rewarding, deepens your understanding of art, and increases awareness of different cultures. Knowledge in Spanish also opens opportunities for personal enrichment and career development. -Join us and our experienced teacher to learn this beautiful and useful language. Rachel Sargent of Fun World Language Academy have over 13 years of experience teaching Spanish. In addition, she has expertise in curriculum design for a major MA school district, and a strong background in creating proficiency and accessibility-based instruction for ensuring high student success. Rachel has a Bachelor’s in Spanish and a Master’s Degree in Teaching. She has also spent time in Madrid to hone her Spanish skills and to get immersed in the Spanish culture.
Policy & Procedures
WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Our programs are supported totally by fees; therefore, full refunds are not given for withdrawals. In the event you would like to withdraw, you will receive a refund as follows: · If a participant withdraws from a program at least seven days prior to the start date a refund of the cost less 25% processing fee will be given. · If a participant withdraws from a program less than seven days prior to the start date, no refund will be issued. · No refunds are given for trips or special events. Cancellation Policy - I/We accept the following The Roudenbush Community Center, Inc. (TRCCI) Cancellation and Transfer Policy: A voucher less $10 will be issued for cancellations 7 days prior to start of program; no other refunds will be granted; no refunds will be issued for trips or special events; there will be a $10 fee to transfer from one class to another; vouchers expire one year from date of issue; if Roudenbush cancels a class, we will call participants and issue a full voucher or refund. Release of Liability for Minor - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to his/her participation in the TRCCI Programs and to his/her use of the TRCCI facilities and equipment. I/We further agree to release and hold harmless TRCCI and their employees, agents and assigns from any and all liability or expenses arising out of any incident involving, or any account of any injury to the above named minor in connection with such program. I/We further consent to emergency treatment by a physician in the event of injury to, or illness of our child during his/her participation in this program. I/We accept full responsibility for all costs for any such emergency treatment. Photography Permission - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to the taking of videos and photographs of my/our child which may be used in the promotion of the TRCCI Programs.
