Instructor: Jim Pecora Class: Modish Modus Mica Night Date: March 23rd Time: 6:00 - 9:00pm Age: Adults Price: $90 Girls night out, BYOB & snacks! Come have fun while learning about the history of the most useful mineral in the world while crafting for yourself, jewelry to go! Mica earrings, Mica Pendants, or even Mica sets! You can make up to 3 items; three pendants, or three earring sets, or a mix. You can start from scratch, or you can fast track it with our starter kit. Mica made jewelry is durable, lightweight, and it’s natural silver color will reflect all the colors that surround you when you wear them! How cool is that? Plus Mica is for the Mind, it is a very powerful metaphysical stone, Jim will tell you why. Handouts included. Author Jim Pecora wears many hats at this stage of his life. He is a Historian, Lapidarist, Jeweler, teacher & lecturer. Jim is chief educator of Pecora’s Mica Mine Schoolhouse, a Museum here in town and traveling road show. On the road Jim conducts “Mineral Adventure Tours” year-round. Jim’s Lapidary Arts Studio here in Westford turns rocks and minerals into gemstones of value, and is open to the public by appointment. Pecora’s Interests span the gamete from History of Finance, Nature, Native Medicine, Philosophy, Geography, Geology, Mines, and Megalithic Structures of New England. Jim is known as the New England Rock Guy, the New Hampshire Rock Guy or just plain ‘ol rock guy.

Policy & Procedures

WITHDRAWAL POLICY: Our programs are supported totally by fees; therefore, full refunds are not given for withdrawals. In the event you would like to withdraw, you will receive a refund as follows: · If a participant withdraws from a program at least seven days prior to the start date a refund of the cost less 25% processing fee will be given. · If a participant withdraws from a program less than seven days prior to the start date, no refund will be issued. · No refunds are given for trips or special events. Cancellation Policy - I/We accept the following The Roudenbush Community Center, Inc. (TRCCI) Cancellation and Transfer Policy: A voucher less $10 will be issued for cancellations 7 days prior to start of program; no other refunds will be granted; no refunds will be issued for trips or special events; there will be a $10 fee to transfer from one class to another; vouchers expire one year from date of issue; if Roudenbush cancels a class, we will call participants and issue a full voucher or refund. Release of Liability for Minor - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to his/her participation in the TRCCI Programs and to his/her use of the TRCCI facilities and equipment. I/We further agree to release and hold harmless TRCCI and their employees, agents and assigns from any and all liability or expenses arising out of any incident involving, or any account of any injury to the above named minor in connection with such program. I/We further consent to emergency treatment by a physician in the event of injury to, or illness of our child during his/her participation in this program. I/We accept full responsibility for all costs for any such emergency treatment. Photography Permission - I/We, as parents/guardians of registered minor, hereby consent to the taking of videos and photographs of my/our child which may be used in the promotion of the TRCCI Programs.
