Community Fun

The Roudenbush Community Center hosts a variety of events that bring the community together. Twice a year, the Town-Wide Yard Sale invites residents to sell and shop for treasures, while middle school students enjoy four seasonal parties filled with music and games. The center also hosts local markets, a lively Halloween Parade, and the charitable Carve for Carson pumpkin-carving event. Additionally, the Halloween Costume Swap promotes sustainability by allowing families to exchange gently used costumes. These events foster a vibrant and connected community for all ages.

About The Event

Completing financial aid applications is the first step in determining eligibility for financial aid, grants, and other tuition assistance from colleges, federal and state agencies, and some scholarship providers. This session will review the different applications, FAFSA and the CSS Profile, how they differ, and the impact of financial information reported on calculating a family's contribution.  Attendees will receive a 2024-2025 College Financing Worksheet to help with their individualized college financing strategies. Our presenter, Tom O’Hare, a frequent visitor to Roudenbush, will leave ample time for questions to ensure parents are ready to get their planning going.
