Never held a golf club? Never hit a golf ball? Is your "golf experience" limited to mini-golf? Our Intro to Golf program is designed for the new-to-the-game golfer with little (or no) golf experience? Basic fundamentals of the game are taught in a relaxed, stress-free clinic-style setting. The program consists of five (5) one-hour lessons, spaced one week apart. Equipment and practice balls will be provided as needed. All you need to bring is a "pair of sneakers and a good attitude."

This class is designed for the 55 and over senior looking for a fun fitness environment. Learn how to build strength, balance, coordination and muscle mass all in a small group setting. We will have several exciting routines working with elastic bands, medicine balls, light dumbbell weights and chairs. Work at your own pace. All fitness levels are welcome.

Stay active with this Circuit Class that combines easy to follow moves for your cardio respiratory health, resistance exercises for your muscle health, and stretching for both flexibility and balance. All this in a group environment providing camaraderie and social support. You will learn to use weights properly, strengthen muscles, all while burning calories. Strength work is performed with hand-held weights, elastic tubing or a medicine ball. Strengthening segments may be performed standing or in a seated position. Every exercise has a modification making it suitable for all levels. Work at your own pace. All fitness levels welcome.

TAE KWON DO (Ages 6 & Up)

Learn Tae Kwon Do with an experienced instructor who teaches traditional forms and self-defense in a non-contact, supportive and fun class. Courtesy, integrity, discipline, perseverance, and indomitable spirit are the tenets of Tae Kwon Do and are the natural outcome from the practice of this art. Ongoing sessions will be available for students ages 6 and up. Students receive instruction from the lead instructor, other black belts and from advanced students in a cooperative, fun and progressive environment. Open registration ends when session begins.

This program is the perfect next step after Intro to Golf. The program consists of four lessons spaced a week apart and will focus on ball striking skills: irons, hybrids and woods (tee and fairway shots). One of the lessons will be out on the golf course addressing pitching and sand trap shots. Clubs will be provided if needed. This is a one hour class. *Prereq: Intro to Golf or 1 year course play.

This class is open to all levels of practice and abilities. Together we are breathing, feeling and flowing movements in a way to stretch and strengthen the entire body all while finding relaxation for the mind. You'll be encouraged to practice mindfulness and to challenge yourself while honoring your body. Modifications to poses will be offered throughout the class so that you gain the greatest benefit from what your body and mind needs during each and every movement. Eat lightly 2 hours prior to class and bring water, a yoga mat, and/or a towel with you.
