Add a little spice to your life! In this class, beginners will quickly feel comfortable dancing to slow and fast contemporary music as well as popular ballroom rhythms. Be confident at social functions or out on the town. You will have fun learning the Waltz, Foxtrot, Rumba & Swing in a relaxed and easy atmosphere.
CORE AND MORE FITNESS

Build strength with a mixture of Pilates core movements combined with classic resistance exercises. We will focus on the trunk muscles and then radiate out to include toning of buttocks, hips, legs, chest, arms and back. Props will be used to challenge strength and stability, and to increase muscle recruitment during exercise. All levels.

About the Instructor:
Carol Wing is passionate about fitness and serious about fun. Carol has enjoyed helping people attain their fitness goals and improve their quality of life for over 15 years. She teaches classes in Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Muscle Toning and skiing and does personal training for a wide variety of clientele. Beyond the gym, she is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to swim, run, backpack and ski. She is a 4H leader, a published author, public speaker and competitive singer. She likes to read, cook, laugh and explore the world with her family.
PILATES WITH PROPS

Add variety to your workout routine with this challenging class! We will rotate using weighted toning balls, the fitness circle and flex-band to add resistance and awareness of the deep musculature in a Pilates class. Using the props will improve your Pilates form and posture while strengthening the muscles of the core, legs, glutes and arms. All levels are welcome.

About the Instructor:
Chris Kandianis has been studying Pilates since 2004 and yoga since 2000. She is passionate about helping people use these practices to develop the strength and flexibility needed to enjoy activities and sports while bringing mind/body balance into their lives.

Chris is STOTT Pilates certified in Matwork and Reformer plus has training in Injuries and Special Populations and Anatomy. Chris is an ACSM certified personal trainer, and RYT-200 certified yoga instructor. She holds a BA degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Simmons College and regularly attends workshops to expand her knowledge and repertoire. In recent years she has completed over 30 Pilates and yoga workshops, TRX Suspension Training and TRX Rip Training.

YOGA PILATES FUSION

This class combines the stability gained from Pilates movements with the stretch, focus and balance of a yoga practice. It will have a yoga pace and feel while teaching yoga practitioners various Pilates stabilization techniques that facilitate the full expression of yoga poses. Leave this class feeling centered, stronger and with a deep sense of relaxation. All levels are welcome.
