The Zumbafitness program mixes global rhythms and easy-to-follow Latin-inspired dance moves that turn your workout into a party! Our goals are simple: Give you a safe, effective workout in a judgement free, low-pressure environment. This class provides the hottest music tracks and moves that bring the party. Burn calories, tone muscle, and build endurance while having FUN! Zumba is appropriate for all fitness levels. No prior dance or fitness experience is necessary to participate in the program.

About the Instructor: Cinthya entered the fitness world after birth of her daughter in 2009. After taking Zumba classes for a few years she decided to take the lead and share her love of music and Zumba by becoming an instructor in 2014 with her best friend Pam.
Cinthya holds a background in Computer Networking and Procurement. She is a Buyer at a global web hosting company, but her passion is music, dance fitness, and Zumba . She started with ballet and jazz at an early age and slowly progressed to other types of music such as, merengue, salsa, African and Caribbean at a later age. Cinthya is currently licensed in Zumba. Cinthya also enjoys dancing bachata and salsa at numerous dance clubs and facilities. What motivates Cinthya is the smiles during and after her Zumba class. One of her favorite quotes from a student is: "Cinthya, you are my favorite hour of the week".

CORE AND MORE FITNESS

About the Instructor:
Carol Wing is passionate about fitness and serious about fun. Carol has enjoyed helping people attain their fitness goals and improve their quality of life for over 15 years. She teaches classes in Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Muscle Toning and skiing and does personal training for a wide variety of clientele. Beyond the gym, she is an outdoor enthusiast who loves to swim, run, backpack and ski. She is a 4H leader, a published author, public speaker and competitive singer. She likes to read, cook, laugh and explore the world with her family.

For all fitness levels! Challenge yourself to a fun and intense workout, whether it is to get in better shape, tone your body, gain more muscle, or if you just like to be active. This is not a military style bootcamp, but a supervised group class based on fitness that focuses on substantially increasing your fitness level to help in achieving desired fitness goals. The 50 minute workouts switch between a series of 8-10 weekly-changing resistance (anaerobic) stations integrated with a series of cardiovascular (aerobic) stations. Get ready to squat, lunge and move!

She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roger Williams University, and has been a student of dance for over 35 years. Zumba, ZumbaGold & ZumbAtomic licensed, she's been teaching ZUMBA classes at gyms, dance studios, schools and corporations since 2008. She also teaches a variety of group fitness classes including Pilates, Step, Muscle Conditioning, Seniors, and High-Low Impact Floor Aerobics. Never held a golf club? Never hit a golf ball? Is your "golf experience" limited to mini-golf? Our Intro to Golf program is designed for the new-to-the-game golfer with little (or no) golf experience? Basic fundamentals of the game are taught in a relaxed, stress-free clinic-style setting. The program consists of five (5) one-hour lessons, spaced one week apart. Equipment and practice balls will be provided as needed. All you need to bring is a "pair of sneakers and a good attitude."

PILATES WITH PROPS

Add variety to your workout routine with this challenging class! We will rotate using weighted toning balls, the fitness circle and flex-band to add resistance and awareness of the deep musculature in a Pilates class. Using the props will improve your Pilates form and posture while strengthening the muscles of the core, legs, glutes and arms. All levels are welcome.

About the Instructor:
Chris Kandianis has been studying Pilates since 2004 and yoga since 2000. She is passionate about helping people use these practices to develop the strength and flexibility needed to enjoy activities and sports while bringing mind/body balance into their lives.

Chris is STOTT Pilates certified in Matwork and Reformer plus has training in Injuries and Special Populations and Anatomy. Chris is an ACSM certified personal trainer, and RYT-200 certified yoga instructor. She holds a BA degree from Tufts University and an MBA from Simmons College and regularly attends workshops to expand her knowledge and repertoire. In recent years she has completed over 30 Pilates and yoga workshops, TRX Suspension Training and TRX Rip Training.

Stay active with this Circuit Class that combines easy to follow moves for your cardio respiratory health, resistance exercises for your muscle health, and stretching for both flexibility and balance. Strength work is performed with hand-held weights, elastic tubing or a medicine ball. Strengthening segments may be performed standing or in a seated position. Learn Tae Kwon Do with an experienced instructor who teaches traditional forms and self-defense in a non-contact, supportive and fun class. Courtesy, integrity, discipline, perseverance, and indomitable spirit are the tenets of Tae Kwon Do and are the natural outcome from the practice of this art. Ongoing sessions will be available for students ages 6 and up. Students receive instruction from the lead instructor, other black belts and from advanced students in a cooperative, fun and progressive environment. Open registration ends when session begins.

This program is the perfect next step after Intro to Golf. The program consists of four lessons spaced a week apart and will focus on ball striking skills: irons, hybrids and woods (tee and fairway shots). One of the lessons will be out on the golf course addressing pitching and sand trap shots. Clubs will be provided if needed. This is a one hour class. *Prereq: Intro to Golf or 1 year course play.

This class is open to all levels of practice and abilities. Together we are breathing, feeling and flowing movements in a way to stretch and strengthen the entire body all while finding relaxation for the mind. Modifications to poses will be offered throughout the class so that you gain the greatest benefit from what your body and mind needs during each and every movement. This Zumba Express class will include 10-12 songs such as merengue, salsa, reggaeton, cha-cha, flamenco, pop, belly dancing, Calypso, and other international rhythms. The 45 minutes will fly by as participants burn calories, boost heart rates, and have a few laughs. Come try this challenging class with one of the area's original Zumba instructors. Bring a small towel, plenty of water, supportive indoor sneakers, and a sense of humor.
