This interactive fun workshop teaches parents to create a positive home environment. Give up yelling, nagging, threatening, bribery and punishment. Eliminate hassles over homework, bedtime, meals, food & fitness, sibling rivalry, technology, chores and time management.

Through reading and group discussion, parents will turn down the decibel level and turn out capable children. The five point plan includes: family meetings and chores; encouragement; family dinner; natural and logical consequences; and mutual respect. Parents will craft a positive parenting plan that works for newborns to new adults. Parents will gain peace of mind and confidence that their children are empowered to make good decisions which is critical as they mature into teenagers. Start when they are as young as possible.

Susan Tordella is a parenting expert and coach, mother of four, and author of the book, Raising Able: How chores empower families. The class and book are based on Adlerian psychology, which she has taught and used for 20 years. Susan blogs at www.raisingable.com.
