Based on professional detection dog training techniques, K9 Nose Work is fun for dogs of all breeds, ages and personalities. In the foundation course, we reconnect with your dog's innate abilities to sniff and to hunt through a series of exercises designed to develop independent hunting and problem solving skills. At the same time, you will begin to develop your skills as a handler by observing your dog's behavior while they are working scent. Rewarding at source, odor movement, odor cones, hide placement strategy, and other foundation concepts will be discussed. K9 Nose Work classes are a great way to offer your dog both physical and mental stimulation, and it's a game you and your dog can play for life!
