Come and play with your favorite grown up! This playtime session includes songs, dances, games, dress up, sensory play and crafts in a relaxed setting. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and caregivers to meet and interact in a fun environment.

This parent and child program is designed to promote overall development including gross motor and language skills for babies six to twelve months of age. Puppets, songs, and other props will be used to encourage your child to interact and explore their environment within the group. Instructor Kerry Kirkland is an Early Childhood Educator. This class will help prepare your child for kindergarten by enhancing skills in the areas outlined by the Department of Education. Subjects range from language arts, mathematics, science, history, social studies and “Handwriting Without Tears” currently being taught in the Westford Public Schools. This class will provide additional reinforcement to your child’s regular preschool program in a challenging,fun, and exciting way. The program will run in six 4 week sessions and is open to ALL children entering kindergarten in September 2010.

Music Together (ages birth to 5 yrs. with adult. The internationally acclaimed Music Together Program builds on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. Each class features instrument play, singing, rhythm chants and dancing in an informal, musically rich environment where there is no performance pressure. Adults find the music and activities fun and engaging regardless of their own musical ability. Two hours of singing, making crafts, reading books, and having fun. This small group allows children to gradually become comfortable with other young children. Each week children will do fun activities around different themes. Give your child a chance to be independent in a secure and loving environment before starting pre-school or public school. A light snack will be provided. All materials are included. Sign up for one or more sessions.

Learning through music - a winning combination! Through songs, instrument play, stories, games & pretend play, your child will develop the skills needed for early school success! Children will spend the first 30 minutes of this class independent of their parents. Parents are advised to remain near the classroom should your child need you, however, you may remain in the room if your child is more comfortable with you present. The last 15 minutes are spent with the parents and children sharing music and activities together. Materials fee of $15 will be collected at first class.

Celebrate your baby's development and nurture your bond in this very special weekly music and movement program designed for you and your lap baby, crawler or walker. You and baby will experience and participate in purposeful music activities that stimulate cognitive and language, social and emotional and physical development of your child, including object and instrument exploration, vocal play, singing, dancing, creative movement, infant massage, and gentle exercise and play. Bring a baby blanket or towel and socks for you and your child. The instructor will collect a required $36 materials fee for CD, board book & instrument.

Yoga for parent/caregiver and babies ages 3 months to almost walking. With babies in laps, arms or lying on the mat you and your baby practice yoga together. This class is designed to offer the parent/caregiver a workout and encourages your baby to gently move through their natural range of motion helping their little muscles develop. Yoga, your voice, touch and smile will enhance the natural bond between you and your happy, healthy baby.

Join the fun! This 10 week Spanish class has been developed for preschool children age 2.9 and above. Classes for Frost children will be held at Main Street, (participants will be walked over).
